Op Replay - Zeswitz - Higher ResOperation Replay, sponsored by Zeswitz Music Company, provides used instruments to financially disadvantaged students who would like to participate in a community or school music program. Instrument donations are tax deductible and a wonderful way to provide a deserving child with an opportunity to make great music. To date, more than 750 instruments have been collected, refurbished and placed with students in Berks County Schools.

All string, brass, woodwind and percussion instruments are welcome. Keyboards are also welcome, but we are unable to accept pianos or organs. If you would like to make a donation, please contact Keri Shultz, Reading Musical Foundation President, at (610) 376-3395 or kshultz@readingmusicalfoundation.org. Instruments may also be dropped off at the RMF Office, GoggleWorks Center for the Arts, 201 Washington Street, Suite 503, Reading, on Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

“I have a student at Reading Southern Middle School who transferred into our district two years ago and has developed musically over that time quite significantly. He was the recent recipient of a viola from Operation Replay, and he could not wait to try out his very own instrument. Once concerned about not being able to provide an instrument for his high school studies, he is now looking forward to next September’s Orchestra rehearsals at Reading High. It is one thing as music teacher to see great potential in a student. It is quite another to have an organization outside of your school help make that potential come to fruition,” wrote Brian Sanguinito, a string teacher in the Reading School District, in a recent letter to the foundation.
